Everyone should read WhatIsThisWiki. It has useful notes for naming conventions and how to make pages and whatnot. Following these will save us all a world of confusion later.
The Land of Nod
It lies to the east of Eden, a fertile river delta in the midst of the desert, a place full of faith, of religion, worship of God. And because of that, a place full of power. Magic is the fruit of faith, of seeking the One True God. Divine works resound with mythic significance, echoes of past miracles and foundations for the stories that will bring forth new ones. Incarnates turn within, and taking their ancestral figures as models and guides, find the divine within themselves. The Inspired find His message in every falling leaf, and every whisper of the wind is alive with meaning and intent. Legalists gather their knowledge and recite their Rules, knowing that they live in accordance with what God has laid down in the great Books. The descendants of Adam cover the land, talk, trade, compete, play, war, love, and pray as best they know how. Technology ranges from neolithic to late bronze age, with anachronisms as appropriate.
Nod is a creative, Biblically inspired and culturally and mythically rooted game that explores how different people can seek the same thing in very different ways, on the personal, cultural, and global levels. The stories are made up, but the questions are real.
Nod meets twice a month, on the first and third Monday, from 7 to 10pm. It has six players, and is not currently looking for more. If you are not part of the game, feel free to read and comment anyway. Please be polite and respectful, and I (or someone else) will try to answer whatever can be. As a mythologically-flavored game, you'll find the text sprinkled with references to major events on which there is little to no information. That's intentional. We'll figure out what the really important thing was when we need to, or at least, what (insert culture here) thought happened there.

everyone should go to GameChronicle, follow the appropriate link, and leave some notes about what happened. I can't keep track of it all, and it's supremely useful to have a notion of what happened form inside each of your perspectives. More form will be added to this as needed. Everyone who does this should give themselves a HeroPoint.
