Hello, and welcome to logistical planning.
Immediates
Next game according to the schedule is Monday, September 4th -- labor day.
This may not be a good time.
The next games are:
September 4th (maybe -- it's labor day)
"ran" -- constucted myth of how Aramite Nation became garden tribe. See JoiningOfTheAramites
September 18th
planning to run Chitrakaara and the Magic Flute, aka Exporations among the Pika, aka What's Up With Chiara & Scuro?
October 2nd
- Susan may be able to come late (after 8pm) but does not guarantee it.
- Ariel, ditto.
- had been considering Madu's Wedding. May choose something else.
October 16th
- new time for Madu's Wedding?
October 30th (maybe)
- GM ok with running if there's interest
- players?
- (might run Tubalcaine Haunting)
Now that this arc is done, I'm interested in the possibility of running short episodes, as mentioned in the email. Such could be scheduled at times other than normal game time, and a given plot/setting would be announced before each. As it may not be appropriate for everyone's PlayerHeroes to be present at all these scenes, and a number of other characters may be wanted, some people may want to play other important characters.
Are people interested in this? Concepts for short plots/scenes can be put up at NodVignettes. These should involve at least two important characters to be played by players, and either a third (for me) or sufficient atmospherics for me to work with.
Long-term planning, Time
It looks like we're staying with a 2/month, 1st and 3rd mondays. I'm happy to play 5th mondays, but I'll send specific emails about that.
I have raised the idea of running somewhat more frequently. Judging from conversation at game, tuesday is the only day that could happen.
UPDATE 2/7/07: some rescheduling may need to occur. Would people please refillout the poll, marking it as updated? Thank you!
Poll: which of the following are you interested in? Please rank: H == High interest/works well for me, L == Low interest/"I'm ok with that, but it's not ideal", X == "I can't (or won't) do that."

Long-term planning, Place
I'm interested in moving game to my house. There is a cat, but I think steps can be taken at the house to mitigate that. We may experiment some with my house, and if that's an issue, go back to MIT. Alternately, if sami rejoins the campaign, we may be able to have it at her house.
My concerns: I feel as though 5 players is about the limit of what I understand how to usefully work with. Six is a stretch, and I'm afraid game quality may suffer...although, admittedly, I'm still learning. One notion is to divide into two groups, but I'm unclear on how that could be divided.
